Nigerian hip hop Afro-Hiphop recording artist, Onome Onokohwomo, better known by his stage name Yung6ix, says he misunderstood comedian, Akpororo’s jokes which caused a verbal war between them on social media. How Akpororo’s joke made Yung6ix.
Recall that the raging war between Akpororo and Yung6ix, degenerated into a nasty situation after the rapper’s DJ dragged the comedian’s family into messy affair. Drama started when Akpororo went on his ‘Ajebo’ show to mock Yung6ix for plunging over N3.9m on drinks, saying the rapper should have spent the said sum on a hit track instead of wasting money on liquor.

The comedian’s comment quickly stirred reactions, but things went downhill after the named rapper got wind of the diss and took to his Twitter to share his disappointment.
Many Nigerians also reacted to the news negatively.
As though that was not enough, the rapper’s disc jockey, Baddest DJ Timmy, took to the war to another level by not only shading the comedian, but dragging his family into the messy affair and calling the comedian’s wife a sex slave.
But the 27-year-old Delta State-born rapper, in a new interview with Hiptv, said he never got the full joke.
He said: “At first when everybody started, I didn’t get to see the full joke. But when I got to see it, I realized it was a joke. It’s all entertainment. So no feelings/emotions attached. I knew it was a joke.
“We all made fun about it and all took advantage of the fact that I was trending and I had a new video out there. I don’t see anything coming between me and him or whatever.
“He is my Delta brother and I respect him and his talent, but I wouldn’t even joke or make jokes about anything that would make people feel indifferent about their success.
“People make mistakes, people say jokes and like they always say, the joke is always funny until it’s about you. I felt that way.”
