Seun Kuti, son of late Afrobeat Legend Fela Anikulapo, has done his own version of Dino Melaye‘s song.
The singer shared a video of himself dancing to the viral song by Senator Melaye, the lawmaker representing Kogi-West senatorial district.
His ‘innuendo’ came after Melaye’s first degree at the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria was subject to hot questions in last couple of weeks.
Recall that the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoleye Sowore, had alleged that the Senator did not graduate from ABU and that his certificate was questionable.
Melaye threatened and promised to send Sowore to jail.
Sowore on his part said he was ready to die but the truth must be unveiled.
In the midst of the certificate scandal, Melaye made a short video clip which went viral.
In his video, Melaye said: “Aje ku iya ni oje, ajeku iya ni o je, eni ti o to eni no, ton de na de ni, Aje ku iya ni oje”.
When translated, it means “you will be beaten mercilessly if you attempt to fight someone stronger than you.”
