Governor Fayose Ayodele of Ekiti state, has waded into the brutal murder of two students of the Ekiti State University, EKSU, Ado-Ekiti. The Governor is offering one million Naira to anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the cultists responsible for the murder of the two students. Gov. Fayose to give N1m.
This comes after the headless body of an undergraduate of the University, Ayodele Temilade, was found on Sunday night at the University’s gate where it was allegedly dumped by cultists.

Recall that the discovery of Temilade’s corpse came barely five days after the killing of Ojo Segun, a third year student of the same institution. The headless body of the deceased, dumped by suspected cultists, created panic within the university community.
Showing his concern, the Governor of the State took to his Twitter handle to urge the general public to assist the police in combing down the suspects behind the murders.
The Governor, in a series of tweet on his handle @GovAyoFayose, wrote;
“Owing to killings of two EKSU students by cultists, Bill to provide for death sentence for cultists has been sent to the House of Assembly.
Anything that will prevent us from living peacefully in our State will be confronted with everything that we have. Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the cultists responsible for the murder of two students of EKSU will be given N1m.

“Let’s work together to protect the lives of residents of Ekiti State. Information provided will be treated discreetly and identity of whoever offers such information will be protected.”
