Redeemed pastor asks for £2,000 sacrificial offering, members react

London: Redeemed pastor asks for £2,000 sacrificial offering, members react

Pastor Agu Irukwu of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Jesus House London Parish has been exposed by some members of his congregation for asking them to give a sacrificial offering of £2,000. Redeemed pastor asks for £2,000.

The Pastor, who was chosen in 2011 as ‘Britain’s Most Inspirational Black Person’, allegedly pays himself and other senior Pastors in the church a six-figure salary in Pounds.

Redeemed pastor asks for £2,000

Redeemed pastor asks for £2,000According to reports, the Pastor started by requesting for members willing to give £2,000 to come forward, after which he requested that those with £1, 000 come forward. He eventually proceeded to say that anybody giving an offering of less than £250 will not be called forward as he doesn’t want to embarrass them due to the supposedly small amount.

One Ono Bello alleged that members of his congregation were mortified at his requests as there are personal stories of people struggling financially, with visa applications, to get on the property ladder and gain profitable employment and have not received any support from the church.

We are not certain if the General Overseer, G. O, Pastor Enoch Adeboye is aware of this allegation. However, this brings to mind what Pastor Adeboye said some months back when he urged the general public to report any RCCG Pastor or Minister doing wrong.

Redeemed pastor asks for £2,000In a message on his official Facebook page, Pastor Adeboye also left an email dedicated for such reports.

Here’s what he wrote: “Good day, if you know of any RCCG pastor or minister, doing anything wrong or anything they shouldn’t be doing as a leader please report such to me. My email address is contact@eaadeboye.com.”

But his post got some social media users saying he is not to be a judge over people’s lives, but God. See reactions HERE.
