Blackface accuses radio presenters of sabotage, says they expect him to pay before playing his songs[VIDEO]

Former member of the defunct Plantashun Boiz, Blackface, has called out popular On Air Personality , OAP of Beat 99.9 FM, Olisa Adibua, accusing him of sabotage. Blackface, who is undoubtedly one of the pioneers of hip hop/dancehall music in Nigeria, claims Olisa and a friend of his called Razor, would rather play other music while they neglect his. Blackface accuses radio presenters of sabotage.

The ‘Erima’ crooner made this known in a recent interview with Wotzup ONTV. In the full interview, he spoke of how Radio OAPs expect you to grease their palms with money just so they can play your music, a reason why they prefer to give the city garbage music just because garbage musicians don’t mind paying them.

Blackface accuses radio presenters of sabotageHe said, “So Nigerians be like, where is Blackface for God’s sake? I’ll be like, I can’t help it. The sabotage took over the industry and they say who do you need to come to the show, the response is we need Blackface and he is not around and they yank my name off and you guys do not see me.

“I think they sabotage me on radio as well. There is a radio presenter called Olisa Adibua, he never plays my song, once for once. Olisa Adibua will either play ‘Caro oo Caro’, but he will never play mine.

“If you go to Beat FM, I have a friend there called Razor; he is not even going to play my music either. You sabotage me but it’s not gnna take you nowhere. The sky is big for everybody to fly,” he added.

Meanwhile, Blackface and his former label mate, 2face, have recently been involved in a song theft scandal. It all started after Blackface accused the ‘African Queen’ crooner of of intellectual theft. Blackface insisted that 2face stole his song ‘Let Somebody Love You’. The ‘Erima’ crooner dragged 2face to court over the allegation and has since been ranting. However, their colleague, Faze, finally waded into their rift, advising them to settle and live in unity.
