Popular singer, Davido has mocked his friend, CEO Upfront & Personal, Paul Okoye, for living in a rented apartment. Paul Okoye simply goes by the name Pauloo, probably not to have fans get confused if he was Paul Okoye of the Psquare fame. He is not though, they only share same name. Davido mocks ‘Paul Okoye’s’ old home.
So, the ‘IF’ crooner, Davido, in a funny video mocked the ‘One Africa Music Fest’ promoter and organizer after he was surprised to see exotic cars of all types parked in front of Paul’s old apartment building. The Upfront Bookings boss welcomed Davido to his Victoria Island home and the HKN Gang boss was surprised to see exotic cars in-front of an ‘old building’ (as he put it).
A video of Davido laughing at Okoye and mocking him, was posted on Instagram.
Davido mocks ‘Paul Okoye’s’ old home
Davido was heard saying: “How do you live here but drive this shit,” the stunned singer asked Okoye. “How do you live here but drive all these?” Someone else said ‘Chaii..The house don’t match the car.”
Lol. Indeed. But in a swift response, probably in his defense, Okoye took to his Instagram page @pauloo2014, to say: “It is well @davidoofficial because I have light and Water 24Hours and is central in Victoria Island and I’m a landlord Paid in full. 1004 Estate una go pay me for this advert. In few weeks I will surprise U. #VI landlord,” he added.

This could as well be another joke as daddy Imade is fond of such but some fans do not see it that way, they repeated called him a spoilt brat.
Davido is known for lavishing money. About two months ago, he splashed N1.6M on Gucci wears, showing off receipt. Shortly after that show off, he posted a receipt showing how much he spent while clubbing after his ‘One Africa Show‘ in London. As seen on the receipt, the ‘IF’ crooner spent almost 5 thousand pounds on drinks, which approximately will be 2.5 million in Naira and of course fans called him out.
But in his response, Davido slammed fans who call him arrogant, saying if people had the kind of wealth he had, they will go crazy.
Here’s what the HKN Gang boss said: “I am a very free person but if you like say, I’m arrogant, I know I’m not arrogant. Also I can bet you now go to anybody or any street and ask them who is most normal or who is so free they will tell you it’s me. I’m not from the hood! It’s not about giving out money but it’s just me being free as an individual. I feel that sometimes people just think I’m that way because if they have what I have they will go crazy, so I think that’s just the problem.”
