Among the sexiest music videos of the digital era, viewers are regularly treated to full-frontal nudity, twerking, gyrating, bondage and spanking and where’s the last place it’s totally acceptable to be sans clothing in public (besides dates, apparently)? Answers have always been ‘Music videos’ and of course one of our favourite divas, Tiwa Savage is no exception. Recently, fans called her out for her revealing photos which they tagged ‘nude’, asking her to leave such lifestyles and appearances fro the younger generation. So it is okay for younger generation to go nude? Fans blast Tiwa Savage.
The appearance of nudity in music videos has caused controversies over time and several explicit music videos have been censored or banned. Nudity has gained wider acceptance on European television, where audiences often view nudity and sexuality as less objectionable than the depiction of violence but in Nigeria, it is totally against our culture, although ‘open eye’ and ‘trends’ have eaten deep into us that most of us see nothing wrong with it. While some think it is cool, others are of the opinion that it is inappropriate and might be considered offensive to viewers.

However, Tiwa Savage who recently released the visuals of her new video, ‘All Over’ has come under attack for baring her cleavage in the Patrick Ellis masterminded video. In the video, she put her sexy body on display in her danshiki swimsuit. Some of her fans find the video offensive and inappropriate. Following her marriage crisis, the Afro-pop diva isn’t allowing the aftermath to cramp her shine.
Recall that Tiwa Savage and Teebillz’ got married in Dubai on April 26, 2014 at the Armani Hotel. It was a lavish wedding ceremony that had virtually the Nigerian entertainment industry in attendance. But their 2-year-old marriage went sour couple of months back after Teebillz’s rant on Instagram where he accused Tiwa of infidelity. Tiwa, on her part, granted a 45-minute tell-it-all interview in which she made shocking revelations about her husband and since then, the couple have gone thirsty waters.
