Popular Nigerian singer, Kcee has thrown in support for rapper, Phyno, following the fake Patek wristwatch saga on social media initiated by Ray Hushpuppi. Drama started when the Malaysia-based Nigerian rich boy shamed Phyno and Ice Prince on Snapchat, saying they wear fake Patek wristwatches. Kcee vows to petition EFCC over Hushpuppi’s source of income.
The flamboyant businessman dished out his opinion on originality using Iceprince and Phyno as his case study. Hushpuppi, who unarguably has taste for good and fashionable things, feels the duo should portray originality. He talked on how the singers patronize the imitation of luxurious items but frowned at pirates reproducing their music.

In his words: ‘Ice Prince Zamani Phyno Patek Philippe! If you don’t want people to patronize pirated copy of your work, don’t patronize pirated copy of other’s work. #Hypocrites’.
Meanwhile, Phyno had dragged Hushpuppi to the mud in a series of very brutal responses on Snapchat. The King of the East, who rarely engages trolls on social media, put Hushpuppi in his place, reminding him that they have different influences. Read up Phyno’s response HERE.
Hushpuppi has indeed become well-known for his lavish lifestyle and love for Gucci and he sure loves to stir controversy once in awhile too.
But Kcee, whose name wasn’t mentioned by Hushpuppi in the new diss, has backed his ‘brothers’ even as he called out the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to go after Hushpuppi!

You have no credibility, no known source of income and yet you come on social media to attack hard working Nigerian musicians with traceable wealth.

“Let’s face it, I think we’ve had enough of this nonsense and disrespect from you. Really, what do you do for a living, what is your talent, how did you make your money, what brand do you represent? I will take it upon myself to raise a petition against you. We want to know your source of income since you now have the nerves to come on social media and call out a brand. Who is your father, Are you OBO, are you a taxable Nigerian. We need to start asking questions and the EFCC @officialefcc needs to start paying more ‘Attention To detail’” Kcee added.
Meanwhile, Iceprince who was shaded alongside Phyno has also reacted to the callout. In a comment disabled post, he wrote: “Big Dogs Don’t Bark ! F@$k is a puppy loud for? May We all be Successful.”
