Korede Bello Stole From American Rapper Lupe Fiasco
So Korede Bello of Mavin Records who is loved by many has been accused of theft. Though his fans love him very much, they are so disappointed that Korede Bello stole from American Rapper Lupe Fiasco.
Korede didn’t just borrow some lines, he plagiarized another person’s work. According to Celeb Police, “the meat of the case is the undiluted copying of the concept for the artwork of his latest hit song, Do Like That from American rapper/producer, Lupe Fiasco’s song, Next To It, which was released way back in 2014, two years before Korede hit the studio for his song.”
I actually wonder why we have to be copy cats, don’t we have a brain of our own? Nothing kills creativity like stealing another persons work. I preach originality any day anytime. Do what you can do, work hard and what will be will be.
One twitter user, @JudeDahDude wrote, Its really shameful and disheartening that our so called artistes and graphic designers can’t show originality in concept and content.”
He is so lucky there’s some distance between him and the American rapper. If this is was America, Korede would have been sued to court and probably stripped of all that he has.
Naija artiste abeg, no dey disgrace us.
