Praiz knows his stand with God, does not care what you think
Nigerian R&B songwriter and singer, Praise Ugbede Adejo, better known by his stage name Praiz, says he does not care what people think of him because living his life to the fullest has nothing to do with how people feel.
Praiz, whose music career hit the limelight after he finished second runner-up at the maiden season of Project Fame West Africa, said all that matters is ‘You’.
The Rhythm and blues singer shared his thoughts on spirituality in a recent interview with HipTV.
‘My dad is a clergy and I do music that I want to do.
‘My parents, especially my dad will not force his children to do what they want them to do.
‘They believe in their children and believe in the choices their children decide to make.
‘I have my parent’s full support and I am doing what I want to do.
‘Spirituality is not as we see it. You can’t judge spirituality based on what you see.
‘A lot of people who claim to be spiritual are actually the ones who are not spiritual.
‘I think we down here are very hypocritical and I am not about that life.
‘I know my stand with God and that is what really matters, I don’t care about what anyone thinks, I don’t care about what your opinion is.’
