Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, Bex has blamed fans for the fake lives celebrities live.
Yeah right! In the last couple of weeks, we have been up and about fakeness in the Nigerian Music Industry.
But the singer-songwriter and composer, born Emmanuel Bezhiwa Idakula, has opened a new page of info on the subject.
Bez, who is a majorly known for working in a genre known as “alternative soul”, a hybrid of soul, rock, jazz and R&B, says celebrities must try to impress no matter what.
In a recent chat, here is what the 34-year-old said on celebrities living fake lives.
“I would say the people make celebrities do that because people expect celebrities to live in a certain way and when they fail to, people start insulting them.
“It’s really a huge pressure on the celebrities at the end of the day…and that is what I try to do.”
The ‘You Suppose Know’ crooner said by many media outlets to be one of the most unique artists in Nigeria, further stated:

“If you think of some songs you have head from way back from when you were youngs, some are still relevant now and those people will always tour around the world.
“Look at King Sunny Ade for example, he is 70 but he is still playing in International festivals.
“So it is important to have songs that can stand the test of time.”
Well said, Bez. But truth is most musicians lose it. They don’t have any peculiar style, all they do is follow the trend and miss out on so many things as far as good music is concerned.
