It seems Mavin Records Singer, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, popularly known as Reekado Banks has joined the league of Nigerian artistes with babymamas. We need to ask because the Mavin artist has left everyone jaw dropped after he shared a photo of a pregnant lady with a huge baby bump on his Snapchat. Reekado Banks girlfriend pregnant for him?
Well, of course he covered her face with a huge love emoji, and then he wrote on the photo: “99%”. But then, he didn’t reveal who the lady is. We could guess this is some kinda stunt, (not out of the usual), where media houses will report that his girlfriend, Emem, 19, is pregnant for him and then, he’d later come out to debunk the rumor that the lady was just his sister, relative or ancestor… Haha.

You know, the high rate of babymama trend in the Nigerian Entertainment industry is no longer shocking as most of our entertainers seem to be somewhat cool with the babymama trend/virus, that seems to have found its way into their souls. To be honest, the rate at which young girls are getting pregnant for our Nigerian celebrities, I am of the opinion that they are probably even timing their ovulation to ensure they get pregnant when they engage in sexual intercourse with these men because it is so rampant that it just cannot be a mistake anymore. So, not only do we raise eyebrows at our celebrities, the ladies have a huge part to play in carrying the blames.
Have we ever wondered what the deal is with some of our young girls that get pregnant for Nigerian celebrities who half the time probably do not give a hoot about them or have we ever stopped to wonder if and how they arrived at being pregnant?
