AY blasts critics
Renowned comedian, AY, has tersely reacted to the dust raised by his wife, Mabel after she called out singer, Iyanya’s pregnant ex-girlfriend, Freda Francis to stay away from her family. This comes after wife of the popular comedian called out the socialite during which she unveiled screenshots of a raunchy conversation supposedly between AY and Freda. AY blasts critics.
It all started on Monday morning from AY’s Instagram page after he shared a photo of he and Freda from Freda Francis’ baby shower held on Sunday. AY was in attendance alongside some other celebrities and gushed about a reunion.

Shortly after AY posted the photo of he and Freda, AY’s wife swiftly replied with a comment on her husband’s photo, saying this was outright wickedness and she won’t take it! Also, on her Instagram page, Mabel shared raunchy Whatsapp messages purportedly between her husband and Freda, although she has long deleted them from her page.

From all indications, it seems all is not well in the camp of the comedian as the Whatsapp messages point towards infidelity on his part. Reports also made the rounds after Mabel’s rant, that AY could have fathered Freda’s unborn child.

Amidst the controversy about whether or not AY Makun is the mystery father of Freda Francis‘ baby, the comedian spoke with TNS. The medium had a quick chat with him and his response has not helped shutdown the current rumor spreading like wildfire.
When asked about being Freda’s baby daddy, the A Trip to Jamaica producer said, “And so if I impregnated Freda, is it something new?”
The reporter told him the issue was turning into a scandal, a nonchalant AY laughed and stated: “Because most of these celebs cover up? That na why you think say people never hear dis kain thing before. So what if na me give am belle? Abeg abeg! Na today?”
Asked about his wife’s rant, AY said he owns his wife and people should focus more on his work than private life.
He said: “Leave my wife for me abeg. Na me get my thing. My wife put something for Instagram, all of una dey kolo. I don see my name for every blog wey dey dis country since morning. Even una wey be TNS sef don carry am. Everywhere I turn, na AY this, Freda that. Una no even shout on top my upcoming film like this,” he quipped.
