Dr. Ade was said to have prescribed the drug to him after he complained of leg pain.
Davido’s uncle, who was also a serving Senator, died of an overdose of painkillers.
Senator Adeleke died on Sunday April 23 in his hometown, Ede, Osun state.
Family sources revealed that the Senator died at the Biket Hospital in Osogbo, capital of Osun state, after a heart attack.
There were misunderstandings over his burial arrangements.
He was scheduled to be buried April 23rd but it was postponed by the family in order to allow them find out real cause of the death of the politician.
He was however committed to mother earth on April 24th.
Recall that Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday, prevented a crowd of sympathisers at Ede from lynching Ms. Idia Babalola, Special Adviser to Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, during the burial ceremony of the late Senator at his country home.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased had said they will not make the case against the Doctor public due to the sensitive nature of the situation.

Before his death, Adeleke was elected the first civilian governor of Osun state in 1992 and remained in office till 1993 when the military took over.
In 2007, he won an election to represent Osun West senatorial district as candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
He was succeeded in 2011 by Mr Mudashiru Hussein whom he had earlier defeated in 2007.
Adeleke is believed to have been highly instrumental to the electoral success of the APC in Osun at the 2014 governorship election and the 2015 presidential election.
