Having casual sex is not cheating - IK Ogbonna swears he's never cheated on his wife

Top Nollywood actor and model, IK Ogbonna, has aired his opinion on what he thinks cheating is all about. No doubt, infidelity, in recent times, has become a norm to certain people. It is common knowledge that men tend to cheat on their ladies and this is not ruling out that women do the same too. IK Ogbonna.

For the ‘Stolen Lives’ actor, he feels having casual sex should not be termed as cheating as cheating on it’s own is very deep and should not be mistaken for breaking marital vows.

IK Ogbonna

IK OgbonnaSpeaking with BroadwayTV, the actor cum producer also noted that he has never cheated on Serbian wife, Sonia Morales.

According to him, he sees his wife as someone who has everything he desires and he wouldn’t want to ruin that for anything in this world.

When asked about infidelity, IK believes that having casual sex is not necessarily cheating but devoting one’s time to that person makes it cheating.

He said, Cheating is not even having sex with a woman, that’s one mistake people make, it’s more like when you find yourself developing feelings for someone. If a man finds himself in a situation in which he sleeps with a woman for 3o minutes and it’s done and dusted, and then you move on with life. That seems to have only existed the second it ended, it means you only broke your marital vows, that is not cheating.

IK Ogbonna“Cheating is when you start sharing the 100% of you with someone else. I’m not talking about sex, I’m talking about giving that person extra time, chatting moments like…I miss you baby, I miss you honey, when can I see you again? etc or planning trips with this person; now, that’s cheating.

Asked if he has ever cheated on his wife, he said, “I haven’t, I don’t see any reason I should. For me, I looked for a woman that has everything I want… from beauty to brains, companionship, friendship. I’m more about building my family, building my life, and future for my immediate and extended family. So, I really do not have that time as I’m always on set, always working and the little time I do have, I spend with family.”
