The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has dismissed rumours about the alleged crash of his marriage. But the Ooni, through his media aide, in a chat with Naij, rubbished the reports. He debunked the rumours saying that he and his wife have a happy marriage. According to the Oba’s media aide, the palace would issue a statement on the matter as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, new reports surfaced online that a new queen has been picked for the Ooni. Palace sources claim that the Monarch will be getting a Yoruba Queen unlike Olori Wuraola who is from Benin, Edo state. The palace source said: “The new queen will be unveiled by the end of the month or sometime in September. The king of the Yorubas can not be a bachelor.”
