Nigerian born British new World Boxing Heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, says he is proudly Nigerian.

Joshua says the secret to his success lies in some Nigerian meals.

The WBH champion shocked everyone on Saturday, April 29, 2017 with his victory over the dreaded Ukranian Wladimir Klitschko.

Joshua defeated veteran Ukrainian Klitschko in a world heavyweight title fight epic in front of 90,000 people at Wembley on Saturday.

He took victory on an 11th round stoppage.

With that win, Joshua who is Nigerian-born added the WBA title to his IBF.

Although born in Watford, the 27-year-old has a Nigerian mother Yeta and a British father of Nigerian and Irish descent.

According to Anthony, pounded yam, eba and egusi are the secret of his success.
