A concerned Nigerian, possibly an Islamic fundamentalist, identified as Abubakar Usman Almajiri, has called out President Muhammadu Buhari over the appointment of Mrs Aisha Ahmad as the new Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Deputy Governor. New Deputy CBN Governor, Aisha.
Almajiri pointed out that Mrs Ahmad is not qualified for the job as her dressing doesn’t represent that of Muslims.

Recall that President Buhari recently appointed Mrs Ahmad as CBN Deputy Governor. The President, on Wednesday presented Mrs Ahmad to the Senate for confirmation and she is to replace a former Deputy Governor, who retired early this year. In accordance with the provisions of Section 8(1) (2) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (Establishment) Act 2007, President Buhari urged the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, to consider the expeditious confirmation of Mrs. Ahmad, who would then resume work immediately.
But the Islamic fundamentalist took to his Facebook Timeline to rant about Aisha’s appointment. Here’s what he wrote:

“I think, Buhari’s choice of a sex-worker styled ‘Muslim’ lady for deputy CBN post is a great disservice to us Muslims. I know, Buhari is a liberal and does not give a damn about living Islam fully himself – as we see his incessant handshakes with women. But even if he is non-Muslim ruler, we expect him to chose, if not the good seeds from among us Muslims, but a little bit better Muslims. That’s the best way we can be proud of our seeds not with the wayward bad ambassador of sort.
“Away from religion anyway, what happened to our tradition recourse to moral propriety, cultural sensitivity and dress decency in selecting those to hire for jobs?”
