Recall that in June, Wizkid added another feather to his cap after he won the highly coveted “Best International Act: Africa” at the 2017 BET Awards. The Starboy boss came ahead of the stiff competition comprising of Davido, Mr Eazi, Tekno and other African contemporaries including Stonebwoy, Nasty C, Babes Wodumo and AKA at the annual ceremony held in Los Angeles, California. Without mincing words, that was the second time the singer won in this category, after going home with the award along with Sarkodie in 2012. This year’s nomination happens to be the first for both Tekno and Mr Eazi after putting out impressive singles in 2016.
